It Can Be Frustrating

You feel a desire to write, but handling rejections from agents and publishers is difficult. Many writers give up. But sometimes, help from an author who is already published can turn everything around. If you have talent, all you may need is someone who can help you polish your work and give you advice as to what your next step should be.

If this is you, maybe I can help. There are no guarantees, but having published fourteen books with five more under contract, I may have some insight that will point you in the right direction.

I will read your work, make suggestions to improve your plot and point out problems that could keep your manuscript from being accepted. Although I don't do line by line editing, I will show you mistakes in formatting, grammar, etc., and teach you how to correct them. In the end, you will end up with a novel that is still yours. My goal is to instruct you how to make your writing better - not rewrite your novel in my voice. I don't just do the work for you - I show you how to improve as a writer so you'll be more prepared for the future.

If you're interested in my help, send me the first ten pages of your manuscript. I'll read through them. If I think I can assist you, I'll let you know. One warning: if you don't have basic grammar or spelling skills, I'm not the editor for you.
